Attakora, Nane & Saric Fit Again

Toronto FC coach Nick Dasovic expects to have Martin Saric and Joseph Nane back in the squad for the game at Chivas USA next weekend. The midfielders are now back in training after recovering from injury and both played a full part in Tuesday’s session at Cherry Beach.

Nana Attakora left Saturday’s 3-2 defeat against at Seattle Sounders in the first half after taking a knock to the ankle, but the Canadian international has now recovered.

“We trained today and Nana joined in training so he’s looking pretty good,” said interim head coach Nick Dasovic. “Mista took a day off and went for a light run to test his foot out but he should be ok to travel this weekend.”

“Martin and Joseph are both on their way back and can both travel so we are close to getting a full squad back.”
