Montreal Match Programme

Toronto FC’s Matchday Programme has fresh content for each home match and issue three of 2010 will be available at Wednesday night’s Nutrilite Canadian Championship Match against Montreal Iimpact.

Here’s a preview of some of the content:

Mo’s Message
Director of Soccer Mo Johnston talks about his plan for the club:

“Our aim is to build a balanced squad of experience and youth that adheres to our principles and the overall philosophy. We have a young squad, and recent moves have made the team significantly younger than it was.”

Coach’s Comments
Preki talks about the Nutrilite Canadian Championship:

“There is a lot of interest here in the Canadian Championship and it is easy to see that people are extremely passionate about it. That can only be good for Canadian football.”

Inside the Locker Room
De Ro talks about the Miracle in Montreal and his pride at being TFC’s new captain:

“For me, winning the Canadian Championship was pretty much as big as winning the MLS Cup, because I was playing back home for the first year.”

From The Stands
Duane Rollins wonders if the Toronto vs. Montreal could ever rival some of the top derby matches in the world:

“When you are talking about Toronto and Montreal you can’t restrict yourself to TFC’s short history. No, this is a rivalry that goes way back.”

The Opposition
Introducing the Impact:

Full bios on Impact coach Marc Dos Santos and players Eduardo Sebrango, Adam Braz and David Testo, plus latest stats and results.

Quick  Fire
With defender Ty Harden:

Find out about Ty’s favourite movie, sporting hero and who he would like to invite for dinner.

Soccer in Canada
Soccer Hall of Fame Who’s Who:
