Toronto FC II announced today that midfielder Matthew Srbely has been loaned to Danish club Thisted FC (second division) for the duration of the 2020 season.

Srbely, 21, has made 51 appearances with seven goals and nine assists in three seasons with Toronto FC II. He made his professional debut for Toronto FC II when he came on as a substitute against Bethlehem Steel on August 13, 2017. He earned his first professional start on August 19, 2017, against Richmond Kickers. Srbely originally joined the Toronto FC Academy in 2013.
