Three Toronto FC Players Named to U.S. National Team Concacaf Gold Cup Squad

           Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley, forward Jozy Altidore and defender Omar Gonzalez have been named to U.S. Men’s National Team coach Gregg Berhalter’s 23-man roster for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. The United States are in Group C with Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Panama. The U.S. open their title defence against Guyana on June 18 at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Followed by Trinidad & Tobago on June 22 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio and conclude the group stage on June 26 against Panama at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.


            Bradley has earned 145 caps and has a total of 17 goals and 22 assists for the U.S. National Team. This season for Toronto FC, Bradley has made 14 combined appearances (MLS and Concacaf Champions League) with two goals and two assists.


            Altidore has earned 110 caps and has scored 41 goals with 13 assists for the U.S. National Team. Altidore has made nine appearances with five goals and three assists this season for Toronto FC.


            Gonzalez has earned 50 caps with scored three goals for the U.S. National Team. Gonzalez was recently signed from Club Atlas of Liga MX and will join Toronto FC at the conclusion of the Concacaf Gold Cup and be added to the roster on July 9 when the transfer window re-opens.
