  • With a win, Toronto FC would move into sole possession of second place in the Eastern Conference and potentially first if FC Dallas can beat Columbus on Saturday night.
  • TFC is unbeaten in their last four matches, picking up three wins and one draw. The Union are in a similar boat having won four of their last five to go along with one draw. 
  • Alejandro Pozuelo continues to make an early case for league MVP. The Spaniard extending his goal streak to three, bringing his total to six on the season. He also notched another assist to give him a league-leading nine on the campaign.
  • Richie Laryea continues to show off his brilliance after a three-point night on the weekend that earned him the MLS Player of the Week. Expect a very hungry Laryea on Saturday night after the team had a week of recovery/training.
