Toronto FC II are headed down the QEW for the third of their four-game series in Rochester, this time against USL newcomers Nashville SC.

The Young Reds come into the match off a 3-1 road defeat to North Carolina SC. Shaan Hundal scored the opening marker in the match but NCFC fought back to score three unanswered to take the three points.

Nashville joined the USL as an expansion team for the 2018 season. The team is a holdover for soccer in Nashville until the club joins MLS in 2020. They had an alright debut season in Tennessee, as the club has played to an 8-5-6 record. The team is 2-2-1 in their last five games and sit on 30 points good for 7th in the east. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs.

Two players to watch for on Nashville SC are Brandon Allen and Ryan James. Allen, once a promising prospect in New York Red Bulls system, led NYRB II to the USL title in 2016 as the finals MVP and was named the 2016 USL Rookie of the Year. Allen joined Nashville at the end of May on a transfer from Bethlehem Steel. The forward has five goals and one assist for both Nashville and Bethlehem this season.

James is a name that should be familiar to TFC II fans. The Canadian played 2016 and 2017 with the Rochester Rhinos. The midfielder played in the Toronto FC Academy system before heading off to school. James has appeared in 11 games this season with Nashville.
