Academy Collegiate Roundup: Week 10

This is the Toronto FC Academy collegiate roundup where we keep tabs on our Academy graduates competing in collegiate programs across the continent. There are currently 15 grads lacing them up in both the NCAA and U Sports. 

NCAA

Ethan Beckford – Freshman – Penn State University

Season finished as Penn State did not qualify for the NCAA Division I Championship.

Dante Morrissette – Freshman – Northeastern

Kota Sakurai – Freshman – Dartmouth College

Sakurai started for Dartmouth in their final Ivy League match of the season, a 1-0 win over Brown. The midfielder recorded two shots as the 19th ranked Big Green finished the season with a 12-3-1 record. Dartmouth has qualified for the NCAA Division I Championship. Ranked as the 15 seed they will play the winner of New Hampshire/Fairfield.

Brogan Engbers – Freshman – Liberty University

Liberty lost to High Point in the Big South tournament semifinals and was not selected for the NCAA Division I Championship.

Thomas Mickoski – Sophomore – St John’s University

Mickoski started and went 75 minutes in the Red Storm's 2-1 defeat to Georgetown in the Big East Semifinals. St John's was not selected for the NCAA Division I Championship.
