The road to MLS Cup 2017 just got a little bit clearer for Toronto FC.

After dispatching the Chicago Fire by a score of 4-0 at Toyota Park on Wednesday night, the New York Red Bulls have advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals where they will face off with the 2017 Supporters' Shield champions. The first leg will take place at Red Bull Arena on October 30th at 7pm, with the return leg to take place at BMO Field on November 5th at 3pm. 

The upcoming two-leg series will mark the third and fourth matchups of the year between the two sides. Toronto FC took home a point from Red Bull Arena in a 1-1 draw on May 19 before clinching the Supporters' Shield on September 30 with a 4-2 win over the Red Bulls.

This series will mark the first-ever postseason meeting between the two clubs.
