Toronto FC Visits Sick Kids Hospital

Toronto FC Sick Kids

On September 24th, Toronto FC’s full team took some time after training to visit Sick Kids Hospital, an annual tradition that is also in support of MLS Works Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The day started off with some fun interaction between the kids and the players. A group of TFC ‘superfan’ patients had the opportunity to meet and play games in Marnie’s Lounge with Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Sebastian Giovinco and the rest of the squad.

After the full team visit in Marnie’s Lounge, the players divided into groups to visit all wards of the hospital, personally delivering TFC gift packages, signing autographs and taking pictures along the way.

The day was filled with smiles on the faces of all the players, parents, staff, and especially the kids. The full-team visit at the Hospital for Sick Children is a day that both the players and patients enjoy, and a long-standing tradition that Toronto FC look forward to attending for years to come.
