The first week of the Reds’ Orlando training camp is almost in the books. The team arrived in Florida on Monday and began training ahead of a preseason friendly match against NASL side Miami FC on Wednesday.

Toronto FC put together a complete performance on their way to a 6-1 victory over Miami. You can read the full recap, with goal highlights here.

In between training sessions, the boys have been taking full advantage of the beautiful Florida weather. On Thursday, some of the team hit the links for a little game of mini-putt, while others chose to spend their time relaxing poolside.

The team also received the unfortunate news that Ashtone Morgan will miss the start of the season following successful surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot.

The Reds were slated to play another friendly on Friday against the University of Central Florida but the game was cancelled.

Toronto FC will now prepare for their first friendly against an MLS club this preseason, as they are set to play Orlando City on Sunday. The game will not be live streamed.

However, the Reds final two games of the preseason will be live streamed. Next week’s matches against Minnesota United FC (Wednesday) and the Chicago Fire (Saturday) will be streamed on TorontoTilIDie.com so stay tuned for updates. Both games are set for a 3:00 PM kickoff.
