TFC now find themselves in a three-way tie for first place in the Eastern Conference, but they have a game in hand on both the Red Bulls and New York City FC. NYRB currently leads on goal difference.

Greg Vanney’s men battled to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night in a hard fought match with the Philadelphia Union that included a controversial ending.

Though they are in, TFC has set higher goals. The Supporters' Shield, first place in the East and a first-round bye are the focus for the club heading into the final four games of the season.

Toronto returns to action on Wednesday night at BMO Field, when they will take on Orlando City SC at 7:30 PM ET.
