The Young Reds will hope to quickly return to winning ways when they take on Harrisburg City Islanders at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Tuesday night.

TFC II suffered their second straight loss, going down 2-1 to Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday evening, giving the basement dwellers their first win on the year. Lebo Moloto and Corey Hertzog scored two goals within four minutes of each other to give Pittsburgh the 2-0 lead halfway through the second half. Malik Johnson cut the deficit to one with a shifting, jinking run down the right wing in the 83rd minute, but Jason Bent's team couldn't find the tying marker.

TFC II will be buoyed by the presence of Raheem Edwards and Skylar Thomas after their time with the Canada U-23 squad in the Caribbean.  Edwards won Man of the Match accolades for his performance in the Guyana game and Thomas did the same in the Grenada victory.

Harrisburg City Islanders will have an even quicker turnaround than Toronto, having played their Pennsylvania rivals Bethlehem Steel on Sunday night.

They won that game 3-1, snapping a five game winless streak. Aaron Wheeler opened his account for the season with two goals, and 6' 4” forward could feature in the latter stages of the game on Tuesday. They also extended their unbeaten record in the Clipper Magazine Stadium.

The team will likely have a different look on Tuesday because of such short rest, but midfield stalwart Jose Barril, joint lead scorer Paul Wilson, and veteran goalkeeper Nick Noble will likely play.

Craig Foster, the other lead scorer with 3 goals, could return to the lineup after missing the game on Sunday.

Players to watch

Craig Foster – The Jamaican international has twice won league MVP in the Jamaican Premier League, scoring 20 goals in the 2014/15 season. He joined Harrisburg in the middle of last season and wasted no time finding his feet, finishing the campaign with 8 goals and two assists

Jose Barill – Barril is in his third year with the Islanders, singing from Real Madrid in 2014. He is a quick and effective mover of the ball who picked up 7 assists last year and is already joint leader in assists this year with 3.
