The sting of Jermain Defoe’s departure was erased by the arrival of Sebastian Giovinco, earlier than expected, from Turin on February 5th.

Giovinco’s signing from Juventus was confirmed on January 19th, but the 28-year-old was supposed to start the next chapter of his career with the Reds in July after completing the season with the Bianconeri.

Instead he came early, joining his new teammates for the start of training camp.

That commitment right there is what we saw from Giovinco on a daily basis in 2015.
