For this month’s Athlete of the Month, Toronto FC Academy would like to award an athlete who truly embodies that value of Collaboration, Joe Mac.

Joe was instrumental in the Toronto FC Academy U14 teams’ success while participating in the Tournoi Sans Frontier in Sens, France.

Joe was an instrumental playmaker on the field, but his team orientated approach was evident both on and off the field. Joe facilitated team discussions that allowed the group to reflect on their experience and grow as a team. Joe also led the group in a collaborative discussion which resulted in a new team chant, as well as a team dance.
