Toronto FC announced Thursday that the club has acquired a fourth round pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft from the New England Revolution in exchange for midfielder Jeremy Hall.

“We saw an opportunity to acquire another asset for a player that was not returning in 2015,” said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. “I’d like to thank Jeremy for his contributions to Toronto FC. He is a great person and we wish him all the best.”

Hall, 26, made a combined 67 appearances, scoring two goals, with one assist between MLS League matches, the Amway Canadian Championship and CONCACAF Champions League in three seasons at Toronto FC.

Hall was originally acquired in trade from the Portland Timbers on November 29, 2011.
