Academy Sends 10 To Canada

Toronto FC Academy will send 10 players to represent Canada at upcoming Under-17 and 18 national team camps.

Defenders Elias Roubos and Kevon Black join midfielder Derick Sequeira and forward Jordan Hamilton (photo above) on the U-17 squad. They will train in southern United States and Panama from November 15-26 under head coach Sean Fleming. The team will work to prepare for the 2013 CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Championship.

Heading west to California is the U-18 team led by head coach Robert Gale. Academy goalkeeper Mark Rogal, centre back Stephen Almeida, midfielders Adam Bradshaw, Dylan Sacramento and Michael Wagenknecht and forward Mark Wadid will be in camp from November 17-24. All players on this squad will be eligible for Canada's 2015 CONCACAF Men's U-20 championship.

The Canada camp preparing for 2013 CONCACAF U-20 tourney is set to be announced later this week.
