Canada has recalled midfielder Terry Dunfield and fullback Ashtone Morgan to its squad for upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches on September 7 and 11. Both matches are against Panama, the first on Canadian soil before the national team heads to Central America.

"I love going away and playing with Canada," Dunfield told reporters after training with Toronto FC on Thursday. "We have two tough games coming up, it's great to be part of it."

The midfielder won't have to go too far as Stephen Hart's team will train in Toronto before taking the pitch on September 7 at BMO Field. The team then travels to Panama for the second fixture during this international break.

Dunfield's return to the national team for World Cup Qualifying has come as a result of his impressive form for Toronto. The Vancouver-born player scored the winning goal against his hometown team on July 11 in a 3-2 victory and earned Toronto a point in Houston on August 25 with another late strike, this time in a 1-1 draw. He has started in 15 of Toronto's last 16 matches.

Morgan is a homegrown Toronto player who came through the club's Academy. He has set up five MLS goals in 2012, cementing his reputation as one of the best young fullbacks in the league. Morgan recently committed to Toronto signing a long-term contract.
