Day 7: First Responders

TFC12-Day7-2012

TFC//TWELVE hit the one week mark on Sunday and goalkeeper Stefan Frei spent the afternoon traveling around the city to visit the very important first responders of Toronto; firefighters, Emergency Medical Services and police.

The first stop of the day was at the newly opened fire hall on the Exhibition grounds. There, Frei met firefighters and had the opportunity to tour the hall, dress the part and even get in the front seat of the fire truck before presenting the firefighters with a Toronto FC jersey and tickets to an upcoming match.

The other two stops of the day were at a local EMS station and the 14 Division Police station. At each of these locations Frei was able to thank the first responders for their hard work and playing such an important role in making Toronto a great place to live. He presented them each with a team jersey and match tickets.

Toronto FC would like to thank our first responders for their dedication and commitment to our community.
