Toronto FC forward Danny Koevermans has been nominated for MLS Goal of the Week.

Koevermans struck shortly after the half-hour mark against FC Dallas on Wednesday, July 4 in a 1-1 draw in Frisco, Texas. It was Koevermans' sixth goal in five games and ninth strike in the 2012 MLS season. The Dutchman flicked an Eric Avila offering into the Dallas goal with some improvisation, fooling goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.

Two days earlier Koevermans was named MLS Player of the Week.
