Matchday

Toronto FC will play its first preseason game Friday night, a light, friendly warm-up ahead of the start to Disney Classic in eight days (February 25 at 6 p.m. ET against Orlando City).

The match against University of South Florida will not be streamed as Toronto FC TV will join the club early next week. However, fans can follow @torontofc on Twitter where we will look to provide lineups, along with halftime and fulltime scores.

There is no indication from head coach Aron Winter what type of a squad he plans to field Friday. We will all have to wait until close to kickoff for that answer. The match will start at 7 p.m. ET.

Disney Pro Soccer Classic Viewing

MLSsoccer.com has informed TFC that the club will be able to stream the Reds’ matches from Orlando on its live page here at TorontoFC.ca. We will have more info on this with a link in coming days when we join the team at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Toronto will start the tournament against Orlando City on Saturday, February 25. Then on Tuesday, February 28 the Reds will face BK Hacken of Sweden. On March 1 FC Dallas is the foe – all games kick off at 6 p.m. ET.

Dream Job A Big Draw

After just three days, the TFC Dream Job contest has attracted nearly 200 applications at the time of writing.

The deadline is on March 2 at Noon ET, after which top five vote getters and 10 selected candidates will move on to the next round.

The winner of this contest will win a season-long contract to cover the Reds for Toronto FC TV along with other perks.
