Eckersley To Return Saturday

Toronto FC will play its first match at the new home of Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. ET on GOL TV Canada - the channel is currently on a freeview.

The Reds have lost three consecutive league matches and have been without a goal for 306 minutes in MLS action since beating Vancouver 1-0 on June 29. Toronto debuted five new players, including designated players Torsten Frings and Danny Koevermans on Wednesday. Although the revamped squad created many chances in its midweek match - a 1-0 defeat to Dallas - they somehow escaped the score sheet. Defender Richard Eckersley missed the Dallas game due to suspension. He is slated to return Saturday.
