Toronto FC will return from an 11-day break to play FC Dallas at BMO Field on Wednesday (8:00 p.m. ET on TSN).
The Reds struggled mightily in its last two league matches losing to New York 5-0 and Houston 2-0 consecutively before the much needed rest, during which the team triggered several transactions in an effort to improve the squad. The match is expected to mark the Toronto debut of designated players Torsten Frings and Danny Koevermans among other newcomers.
When Toronto last met Dallas, a controversial penalty decision sealed TFC's fate in a 1-0 defeat.
