TFC Travels To New York Wednesday

Toronto FC will play two straight away from BMO Field this week, starting with a match against New York Red Bulls on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET on TSN).

Toronto snapped a winless streak last week against Vancouver in Major League Soccer, then beat the Whitecaps again in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship. While the team has some momentum, they lost the services of striker Maicon Santos and possibly midfielder Julian de Guzman and defender Ty Harden to injury. All three were substituted in Saturday's cup final. The Reds have yet to win a game on the road in 2011.

New York drew San Joses 2-2 Saturday in California. The Red Bulls played without ailing superstars Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez. The duo, alongside productive forward Luke Rodgers, remain questionable for Wednesday. New York received two goals from Joel Lindpere against San Jose and with 25 points, sits seven ahead of Toronto in MLS Eastern Conference.
