Maicon was the beneficiary of Plata's pass that put the Brazilian through on goal. With a defender closing in and Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall charging from his line, Maicon made the most of his chance with a cultured low, left foot strike that stood as the 2-1 winning goal over Houston.
