The Renewable Energy Certificates — from 100% wind resources — purchased from Portland, Oregon based Bonneville Environmental Foundation offset 100% of the electricity used at BMO Field during the April 23 match against Columbus Crew. The carbon dioxide reduction value is the equivalent of more than 93,800 pounds and will support enough wind energy to power an average Canadian home for over two years.
