Attention Turns To CCL





After defeat at home to D.C. United on
Saturday
, Toronto FC’s attention now turns back to the CONCACAF Champions League. The Reds will leave on Tuesday for Utah ahead of Wednesday night’s match against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium. Kick off is at 10:00 p.m. live on GOLTV Canada.




The game against the Royals is the first of three in a row away from BMO Field as part of a nine day road trip which also sees them play in the league at Houston Dynamo and the Champions League at Cruz Azul.




Toronto’s traveling squad is expected to include three members of the Senior Academy Team. Canadian under 20 internationals Nicholas Lindsay and Ashtone Morgan are set to make the trip along with midfielder Kevin Aleman from Brampton.




Also in Toronto FC’s Champions League group on Wednesday night, Cruz Azul travel to Panama to face Arabe Unido. All four teams in the group are tied on three points after two matches.
