Toronto FC’s squad trained at Cherry Beach early on Friday morning before leaving for the airport for a mid-afternoon flight to Dallas Fort-Worth.




Brazilian forward Maicon Santos has traveled with the team and will be assessed on Saturday morning to see if he is able to be included in the matchday squad. Santos returned to training this week after being out with a knee injury since August 7.




Chad Barrett won’t be involved in the match against Dallas although he is on the trip with the squad. It is hoped Barrett will be able to step up training early next week as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.




The team will fly straight to Chicago on Sunday following the match in Dallas on Saturday night and will not return to Toronto until Thursday.
