Toronto FC will again be without midfield duo Amadou Sanyang and Martin Saric when they face Chivas USA at BMO Field on Saturday afternoon (
kick off 4:00 p.m. live on CBC
).




Sanyang is still struggling with concussion symptoms and has missed the last three games. Saric took part in the early stages of Friday’s training session at Cherry Beach but is not yet fit enough to return to action. Defender Ty Harden continues to make progress as he recovers from a leg injury but will not be in the squad to play Chivas.




“We have no new news on the injury front. It is the same as last weekend,” said Coach Preki after training. “The boys looked bright after having a day off yesterday and we will have to make sure we are ready to go. It has been a busy week with a lot of travel, but they shouldn’t be flat footed because there is a lot on the line and we need the points.”




Chivas USA trained at Cherry Beach on Friday afternoon following their arrival in Toronto on Thursday night. The Goats added firepower to their squad ahead of tomorrow’s match with the arrival of veteran forward Alan Gordon from Los Angeles Galaxy.
