Toronto FC’s players left Kansas City on Monday morning on a direct charter flight to Honduras ahead of the Champions League clash against Motagua. The match will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday night at Estadio Nacional live on GOLTV Canada.

The squad trained on Sunday in Kansas City following the 1-0 defeat by the Wizards on Saturday at Community America Ballpark. TFC Academy defender Doneil Henry is part of the traveling squad. He has been added to the Reds’ CONCACAF Champions League roster so could be involved in the match on Monday night if picked by Preki.

The flight from Kansas City to San Pedro Sula in Honduras is three hours, and the team will then face a five hour bus ride to Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras.

Toronto hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg and have received a boost ahead of the match with the news that Motagua’s World Cup striker Georgie Welcome won’t be involved in the match. He is heading to Scotland for a trial with Glasgow Rangers. The 25 year old played in all three matches for Honduras in South Africa last month and has scored three international goals in 25 appearances.
