Toronto FC Academy produced a strong second half performance to beat Brampton Lions 3-0 at BMO Field Saturday in the Canadian Soccer League.

Following a scoreless first half, TFC took the lead at the three quarter point of the game when Allando Matheson headed in from close range.

Six minutes later, the young Reds added to their advantage when Nicholas Lindsay also scored with a header.

In the 84th minute, Josh Janniere drove the ball past Lions’ goalkeeper Roy Blanche from the edge of the penalty area to seal the win.

TFC Academy's Senior Team has now won two of three games played so far this season. They return to action on Friday, May 28th against London City at The Cove, London.
