Mitchell Taintor

Taintor enters his first season with Toronto FC II and in United Soccer League (USL). He signed with Toronto FC II on March 15, 2016.

Taintor began preseason with the first team where he appeared in four matches. He joined Toronto FC II for preseason on the West Coast and has made five match appearances to date. He was selected in the third round, 59th overall by Toronto FC in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. Taintor joins the Young Reds after spending the last four seasons at Rutgers University. He appeared in 71 matches, registering 13 goals and six assists for the Scarlet Knights. During his collegiate career, he was named to the NSCAA Second Team All-Midwest Region, Second Team All-Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Conference All-Tournament Team.
