Six members of Toronto FC were called up to their national teams ahead of the upcoming international window for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Midfielders Jonathan Osorio and Jacob Shaffelburg as well as defender Richie Laryea have been called to represent the Canada Men’s National Team (CANMNT) as they face Mexico, Jamaica and Panama in the final round of World Cup qualifying matches in Concacaf. Canada will head to the Estadio Azteca on October 7 before traveling to Kingston to take on Jamaica on October 10. Canada will wrap up their three-game slate at BMO Field on October 13 against Panama.

Defender Eriq Zavaleta was named to El Salvador's National Team, where he has earned 11 caps and scored one goal. He made his international debut with La Selecta on June 5, 2021, in a 7-0 victory over United States Virgin Islands and registered his first goal on June 8 against Antigua and Barbuda. El Salvador will host Panama on October 7 and Mexico on October 13 at Estadio Cuscatlán on either end of a trip to San José as they face Costa Rica on October 10.

Defender Kemar Lawrence will be representing Jamaica when they play the USA, Canada, and Honduras. Lawrence has earned 66 caps with the senior team. He received his first call into the senior national team in September 2013 for a Concacaf World Cup qualifier match against Panama but earned his first cap in November of the same year in a friendly match against Trinidad & Tobago.

Toronto FC Designated Player Yeferson Soteldo was called to represent Venezuela for CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers. Soteldo has earned 23 caps for the Venezuela National Team during his career. La Vinotinto will host Brazil and Ecuador on October 7 and October 10, respectively. Their final match of the window will take place on the road against Chile on October 14. Soteldo made his senior national team debut before being called up to the U-20 side in a friendly match against Costa Rica on February 2, 2016.
