The Hospital for Sick Children

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and one of the world's largest and most respected pediatric academic health sciences centers. Children in every nation of the world have benefited from our patient care innovations, preventative medicine practices and strategies, research discoveries and partnerships.

Special Olympics Ontario

Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) is dedicated to enriching the lives of Ontarians with an intellectual disability through sport. SOO has optimized the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle through sport to improve the well-being of individuals with an intellectual disability. Along with this, they strive to improve upon both the awareness and support of the community regarding SOO and those involved with them.

Best Buddies Canada

Best Buddies Canada’s mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their long-term goal is to make every school and community across Canada more inclusive and accepting of people with intellectual disabilities.

Holland Bloorview

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital focused on improving the lives of kids with disabilities. They are a global leader in applied research, teaching and learning, and client and family care. They pioneer treatments, technologies, therapies and real-world programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life. Their vision is to create a world of possibility for kids with disability.

Covenant House Toronto

Covenant House is Canada’s largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth, Covenant House Toronto changes lives by providing the widest range of services under one roof. A national leader, they educate and advocate to help these youth by influencing public policy and delivering prevention and awareness programs. Their vision is to lead change that challenges homeless youth to pursue a life of opportunity.

Toronto Youth Development

Toronto Youth Development (TYD) was created to assist and foster Toronto’s youth to help reduce the social dilemma of high school drop-out rates, community violence and next generation poverty. TYD’s Academic and Sports Enrichment (ASE) program is a proven system enabling underprivileged youth to gain self-confidence and leadership traits.

Toronto EMS

Toronto Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is the sole provider of emergency medical response for the City of Toronto. This makes Toronto EMS the largest municipal paramedic ambulance service in Canada, and one of the most comprehensive pre-hospital emergency care systems in the world.When somebody calls 911 for a medical emergency, Toronto EMS paramedics assess, treat, and transport patients to a hospital emergency department.

Toronto Police Service

The Toronto Police Service is dedicated to delivering police services in partnership with our communities in order to keep Toronto the best and safest place to live. Toronto Police Services recognizes that crime prevention is a key component of community mobilization and that strong community partnerships are an essential element of any crime reduction strategy.

Toronto Fire Service

Toronto Fire Services provides high quality, efficient and effective emergency response along with fire prevention and education services to those who live in, work in, and visit the City of Toronto. Toronto Fire Services work to protect life and the environment from the effects of fire, illness, accidents, natural disasters and all other hazards as well as raise community awareness about all hazards.
