Toronto FC announced Friday that the club has ended the loan agreement with Tottenham Hotspur F.C. for midfielder John Bostock. He has now been placed on waivers.

Bostock, 21, joined Toronto FC on loan on March 8. He made nine combined appearances for the club in league and Amway Canadian Championship play.

Canada has announced its 18-player roster for the upcoming Men’s International Friendly against Costa Rica on 28 May (18.00 local kick-off) at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, AB.

Tickets to the Canada-Costa Rica match remain available for purchase.

The match, Canada’s first home fixture of the 2013 campaign, will be broadcast nationally in Canada on all four Sportsnet regional channels (Tuesday 28 May, 20.00 ET / 17.00 PT).

TORONTO - With his first MLS start, first goal and first MLS Goal of the Week already to his credit, Toronto FC rookie midfielder Jonathan Osorio has already turned more than a few heads over the last couple of months. He’s now hoping that he has done enough to gain the attention of Canadian national team interim head coach Colin Miller.

TORONTO - MLS and US international veteran Danny Califf was signed by Toronto FC this offseason with the club looking to add a veteran presence on a struggling backline. The only presence the 33-year-old has provided has been supporting his club from the sideline, however.
