Purolator and Toronto FC Partner To Support Daily Bread Food Bank

This Saturday, July 9, before Toronto FC kick-off against Chicago Fire, Purolator and Toronto FC are partnering to host a Purolator Tackle Hunger® Game Day Food Drive to help alleviate hunger in the local community. All donations received will go to Daily Bread Food Bank.


Soccer fans attending the match this weekend are encouraged to show their support by bringing a minimum of three non-perishable food items or by making a $5 cash donation to the volunteers located at all open gates. In addition, for every corner kick that happens during the game, Purolator will donate 250 pounds to support the food drive.


This is Purolator’s tenth year teaming up with Toronto FC to raise food for Toronto and its communities. To date, the partnership has raised a total of 106,400 pounds of food for Daily Bread Food Bank.


When:                  July 9, 2016 from 6:30-8 p.m.


Where:                BMO Field, all gates for food and cash collection.
