TFC Loan Roberts, Chapman and Hamilton to Toronto FC II

Toronto FC announced Friday that the club has loaned goalkeeper Quillan Roberts, midfielder Jay Chapman and forward Jordan Hamilton to Toronto FC II of the United Soccer League (USL). Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the three loan agreements, Toronto FC retains the right to recall the players at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.


Roberts, 21, is currently in his fifth season with Toronto FC. He has been named to Toronto FC’s 18-man squad six times this season. Last season, Roberts split time between Toronto FC and Toronto FC II. While on loan with Toronto FC II, he appeared and started in 15 matches, earning a record of 3-7-5 and registered four clean sheets.


Chapman, 22, is currently in his second season with Toronto FC. He has made two appearances this season. Last season, Chapman split time between Toronto FC and Toronto FC II. While on loan with Toronto FC II, he appeared and started in nine matches, registering two goals and one assist.


Hamilton, 20, is currently in his third season with Toronto FC. He has been named to Toronto FC’s 18-man squad once this season. Last season, Hamilton split time between Toronto FC and Toronto FC II. While on loan with Toronto FC II, he appeared in 20 matches, started in 15, registering three goals. He scored the first ever goal for Toronto FC II eighth minute into the teams inaugural USL league match on March 21 vs Charleston Battery.
