About the Generation adidas Cup

Teams are divided into three regions (East, Central, and West) and participate in two qualifying events per region, one in the fall and one in the spring.

The Kia Toronto FC Academy play in the East region against D.C. United, New England Revolution, New York Red Bulls, Orlando City SC and the Philadelphia Union in the qualifying round.

The 2015 fall event for the East was held at the Kia Training Grounds in Toronto.

The spring qualifying event for the East will be played in Sanford, Florida, followed by the national event that will take place in Dallas.

The top two teams from each division (East, Central, and West) will qualify for the Champions Division, a final group stage that will determine the overall winners of the 2015-2016 Generation adidas Cup.

The remaining teams (those that did not qualify for the Champions Division) will compete in the Premier Division.
