Eastern Conference Look Ahead: Philadelphia Up Next

Damien Perquis vs. Philadelphia

With four games to go in Toronto FC’s regular season the playoff picture isn’t the clearest just yet.

The Reds did their part, coming from behind to secure three crucial points against the Chicago Fire. Sebastian Giovinco recorded his 20th goal of the season (after some debate) in the 3-2 win. With the goal Seba became the first player in league history with at least 20 goals and 10 assists in one season. With 20 goals and 15 assists he also passed Chris Wondolowski for most combined goals and assists in a MLS season.

Elsewhere, Didier Drogba powered the Montreal Impact to a 2-0 win over D.C. United. Montreal is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, one point behind Toronto. D.C, who sit in fourth place, are now within reach for both Canadian sides. Columbus lost to Portland while Philadelphia held New England to a draw. Suddenly, it appears second place could be up for grabs if the Reds can take care of their own business.
