TFC Acquires Second Round Pick For Creavalle

Warren Creavalle

Toronto FC announced Friday that the club has acquired a second round pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for defender Warren Creavalle. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This transaction allows us some flexibility both in terms of our roster and on the cap,” said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. “I’d like to thank Warren for his contributions to Toronto FC and wish him all the best."

Creavalle, 24, made a combined 26 appearances, scoring two goals between MLS League matches and the Amway Canadian Championship. He was originally acquired in a trade with the Houston Dynamo on July 23, 2014.
