TORONTO - June 27th, before Toronto FC kick-off against DC United, Purolator Inc. and Toronto FC are partnering to host a Purolator Tackle Hunger® Game Day Food Drive to help alleviate hunger in the local community. All donations received will go to the Daily Bread Food Bank and St. James

Soccer fans attending the match this weekend are encouraged to show their support by bringing a minimum of three non-perishable food items or by making a $5 cash donation to the volunteers located at all open gates. When you make a doniation you will be eligible to win 1 of 6 signed Toronto FC jerseys. In addition, for every corner kick that happens during the game, Purolator will donate 250 pounds to support the food drive.

This is Purolator’s eighth year teaming up with Toronto FC to raise food for Toronto and its communities. To date, the partnership has raised a total of 81,400 pounds of food for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
