Last week with the help of U-Sector - one of Toronto FC’s official supporters groups - defender Ashtone Morgan delivered some holiday cheer a little early when he surprised a fan at her workplace.

Miriam has been a Red since day one, so when members of U-Sector told TFC that her friends were trying to surprise her with an Ashtone Morgan shirt (her favourite player), the club thought it could help make the delivery a memorable one.

The TFC superfan had been told all week by friends that a gift would be delivered to her. Having an inkling that it had something to do with her favourite Canadian international leftback, Miriam joked with her friends if Morgan would be included in the package. It turns out, wishes do come true as Miriam walked into a meeting room to find Morgan waiting to present her with a special TFC gift.

While it would be impossible for Morgan to visit every TFC fan (only one man in red does that), to Miriam and all Toronto supporters around the world, the club wishes a happy holiday season this Christmas.
