No Time To Rest For Reds

TORONTO -- A day after Toronto FC’s 2-1 home opener win over Philadelphia Union, the players were back at BMO Field Friday morning to go through a regeneration session and begin to prepare for Sunday’s match in Colorado against the Rapids (live in HD on GOLTV Canada).

Coach Preki will assess the fitness of his squad before deciding on his starting line-up. “We have quite a few banged up guys and we are going into altitude so we will have to wait until closer to the time before we are able to see who is available,” he explained.

“We don’t have time to get out on the field and prepare as we would like, but we have to make sure we prepare as best as we can and regroup fast. We will be able to look back at the performance from the Philadelphia match and see a couple of things on film and get ready to play the way we want in Colorado. It won’t be an easy task though. There are some guys who have been injured and are fighting back, so we have to make sure everyone is o.k. to play.”
