Referee Jose Pineda will be in charge of Wednesday’s CONCACAF Champions League second leg match at Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico between Club Santos Laguna and Toronto FC (live on Sportsnet One and concacaf.com at 8 p.m. ET).

The all-Honduras crew will feature assistants Juan Rodas and Oscar Velasquez. The fourth official is Armando Castro.

In his last match as lead referee, Pineda oversaw a CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying match where Antigua and Barbuda beat Haiti 1-0. Six yellow cards were issued.

In his last Champions League match between Morelia Monarcas and LA Galaxy on September 13, Pineda issued only a single caution on Mexican soil. Morelia’s Miguel Sabah was the recipient of Pineda’s stoppage time punishment.
