Reds Open MLS Season March 17
Major League Soccer announced Thursday the complete regular season schedule for 2012. The 17th season of MLS will see each of the league’s 19 clubs play 34 regular season games.
Toronto FC enters their sixth season in Major League Soccer and will open the 2012 campaign on Saturday March 17 in Seattle against the Sounders. The following week, the Reds will host the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2012 Home Opener at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 24.

Each club will play the same amount of in-conference and out-of-conference games following the competition format that was announced on November 20, 2011. Each club will play 17 games at home and 17 on the road in the 34 game regular season schedule.
The Montreal Impact join the league for the 2012 season and will play Toronto FC, three times through the regular season. Toronto FC will travel to Montreal on Saturday April 7 and Wednesday June 27. The Reds host the Impact on Saturday October 20.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC will play Toronto once, on Wednesday July 11 at BMO Field.
